ABERGELE
Abergele is one of the oldest centers of population on the coast of North Wales, a popular and established market town, 15 minutes walk away. This small colorful town is where the local Welsh people shop and stop for a gossip.
An interesting venue to visit here is the traditional herbalist where individual remedies for many maladies are to be found. Three hill forts stand immediately above the town and in Roman times, no doubt, the natives made a lucrative living from the many legions that were based around the town.
TOWYN
Within easy reach of Rhianedd is the very popular seaside area of Towyn. There is a very good funfair for the children and adults with rides, go-karts and arcades and close by there is a large market and car boot which is held almost daily throughout the high season. Lots of bargains can be found here. In the evening many of the bars, pubs and holiday clubs provide live entertainment, quizzes and bingo and some have rooms which the whole family can enjoy.
